The founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, has submitted a request against the Chief Justice in the Practice and Procedure Committee.
In his request, he urged that the Chief Justice should not be involved in any matters related to him or PTI.
According to sources, the Supreme Court’s Practice and Procedure Committee is scheduled to meet today at 4 PM.
Following the presidential ordinance, Justice Ameen-ud-Din Khan is part of the three-member committee, which also includes Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa and Justice Mansoor Ali Shah.

The agenda for the meeting includes setting hearings for petitions related to Article 63-A.
It is noteworthy that the majority ruling on the interpretation of Article 63-A was written by Justice Muneeb Akhtar, stating that votes cast against party policy will not be counted.
The agenda also includes the alleged audio leaks case, for which a five-member bench led by former Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial had issued a stay order. This case has been pending for over a year.
