APP Iin SNAP names Asher Yaqub Khan as its new CEO

One of the country’s leading IT firms with a global reach, APP IN SNAP (PRIVATE) LIMITED announced yesterday that it has appointed Mr. Asher Yaqub Khan as its new CEO. Imran Kazmi, who until yesterday was the CEO, will now continue to be a member of the Board of Directors. Former Chief Technology Officer Ijaz Aslam will also join the Board.

He brings with him more than 25 years of distinguished experience, holding significant leadership positions in large-scale industries locally and globally. He most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer for Mobily, the second-largest telecom operator in Saudi Arabia, where he led the commercial launch of the 5G network and played an active role in driving business and digital transformations.

Mr. Khan’s previous experience, before joining Mobily, was as Chief Marketing Officer for MTN Ghana, where he spearheaded the launch of 4G in the country. He worked for Ufone as Chief Commercial Officer and led that company, providing it the opportunity to launch Pakistan’s first 3G service, repositioning branding and marketing approaches, thus creating a complete turnaround in the company’s performance.

With the role of CEO at APP IN SNAP, Mr. Khan aims for his company to be a rightful global partner that will depend on it to make wide variations of digital technology. Those variations include applications modernization, mobile app development, web development, application integration, full-stack development, and exceptional UI/UX design.
