Aamir Khan’s ex-wife Reena Dutta’s father passes away

Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta were married in 1986 when he was just 21 and she was 19 years old. Their marriage took place in a court in a private ceremony, and Aamir later shared in an interview that the entire wedding cost was less than 10 rupees, as they took a bus to reach the marriage registrar’s office.

The two began their romantic relationship in the early 1980s, with Reena appearing briefly in Aamir’s first film, “Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak,” specifically in the song “Papa Kehte Hain.”

In a 2018 episode of “Koffee with Karan,” Aamir Khan described his split from Reena as a “painful” experience. He stated, “Reena and I were married for 16 years. Our separation was a very difficult time for both us and our families.
