Ahmed kapadia assumes office as new chairman of the Pakistan advertising association

The Pakistan Advertising Association held its 9th Annual General Meeting on Tuesday during which a new central executive committee (CEC) has been elected.

Synergy Group Chairman, Mr Ahmed Kapadia, has been elected new Chairman for the term 2024-2026 said Executive Director PAA through the committee headed by Executive Director PAA, Mr. Jamil Syed. Ameer ul Azeem of Future Vision will take the position of the Senior Vice Chairman, and Zeeshan Khan from TNI Communications will take the Vice Chairman position. Secretary Finance is Wasiq Ali Khan of Manhill Advertising.

New management of the CEC comprises some major advertising professionals in zone “A,” led by Aleem Durrani, Chairman Media Pulse. Shabbir Malik from Adage Communications leads zone “B,” while Rizwan Ashraf from Velocity Marketing leads zone “C.” The other members include: Imran Irshad, M&C Saatchi World Services Pakistan; Bilal Tanveer, Maxim Advertising; Mahmood Parekh, MCM Advertising; Salman Mansoor, Uptick Ventures; Ms. Seema Jaffer, Bond Advertising; Ms. Neesha Dara Khan, Manhattan International; and Omar Ahmed, Spectrum Communications.

Mr. Ahmed Kapadia brings his wide experience with great passion for advertising into the new role as Chairman. A personality well-noted in Pakistan’s advertising circle, he recently donned the prestigious title ‘Dragon Master’ at the Dragons of Pakistan Awards 2024.

In his speech, Mr. Kapadia requested memberships of all the agencies into PAA and announced his plan to introduce policies mandatorily for relevant authorities to get registered with PAA.
He concluded by thanking the outgoing Chairman, Syed Jawaid Iqbal, for the dedicated leadership bestowed by him and the accomplishments during his tenure.

Outgoing chairman Syed Jawaid Iqbal of CMC Pvt Ltd expressed confidence in Mr. Kapadia’s leadership, offering appreciation of his competitive track record and wishing the new CEC success in advancing the goals of the PAA.
