Authorities verified that the incident happened while on a normal patrol. An improvised explosive device (IED) was struck by the police car from the Liosam station. Roadside bomber Abdul Aziz, a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), verified that the car was the intended target.
The truck incurred substantial damage, but Shahpur Khan, the Liosam Station House Officer (SHO), escaped unscathed.
The wounded officers received quick medical attention at Khar Headquarters Hospital. A search and rescue effort was launched in the vicinity after the explosion to apprehend the perpetrators of the assault. The goal of the police is to increase security and stop further .
