Clash between student organizations at Punjab University, several students injured

Several students were injured in a clash between student organizations at Punjab University. Police have detained 50 students on charges of rioting.

According to media, a clash erupted between two student organizations during a Milad event at Punjab University.

Both groups hurled stones at each other, resulting in multiple injuries and damage to university property.

Upon receiving information about the clash, a large contingent of police arrived at the scene, closed the university gates, and attempted to bring the situation under control. SP Iqbal Town Bilal Ahmed supervised the operation inside the university.

SP Iqbal Town stated that 50 students have been detained on charges of rioting, and action will be taken against the students found guilty in the altercation.

It is noteworthy that a similar clash between students occurred at Punjab University a few days ago.
