Faraz Manan joins Global list of 500 Fashion Influencers

The esteemed BoF 500, an annual list curated by the Business of Fashion (BoF) magazine, honors Pakistani fashion designer Faraz Manan as one of the most influential people in the world of fashion.

Key figures from a variety of industries, including luxury businesses, high-street fashion, media, technology, and sustainability, are highlighted in the BoF 500.

Global media outlets claim that Faraz Manan started his fashion design career in 2003 and has since grown to become one of Pakistan’s leading designers under his own brand, Faraz Manan. Several well-known Bollywood actresses, like as Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Kiara Advani, Kareena Kapoor, and Sridevi, have donned his creations.

Taking to Instagram to share his joy at being included in the BoF 500 list, Faraz Manan said he feels that I’m pleased to be acknowledged as one of the key figures influencing the global fashion business.

According to a statement on his website, he is one of the most well-known personalities in Pakistani fashion and is the preferred designer for brides and formal wearers in South Asia.

One of the first South Asian designers to start a boutique in Dubai was Faraz Manan in 2015; by 2024, his brand’s Instagram account had amassed more than one million followers globally.

Since there are still political tensions between India and Pakistan, his work—which is frequently praised by Bollywood elites—has established his brand as a cultural link between the two nations.
