Faysal Bank joins forces with Mastercard and 1LINK for the launch of Shariah-Compliant Debit Card

In a significant move toward digitalising payments in Pakistan, Faysal Bank Limited (FBL) has collaborated with Mastercard, one of the world leaders in payment technology, along with 1LINK, Pakistan’s premier domestic payment network. The three parties have agreed to sign an MoU to partner with each other for driving digital transformation through strengthened payment solutions across the country.

Faysal Bank Karachi headquarters witnessed the signing ceremony in attendance of some important personalities, including FBL’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Yousaf Hussain; FBL Group Head of Consumer Finance, Aneeq Malik; Mastercard’s Executive Vice President and Divisional President, J.K. Khalil; Mastercard’s Country Manager for Pakistan, Arslan Khan; and 1LINK CEO, Najeeb Agrawalla, among others. The cooperation will launch a novel co-branded PayPakMastercard debit card to the market with unparalleled convenience, security, and flexibility for both domestic and international transactions.

Customers of Faysal Bank can now enjoy seamless and safe transactions across Pakistan or international borders.
