Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi condemned the sinking of the frigate Dena, accusing the United States of committing “an atrocity at sea” and warning Washington that it will “bitterly regret” the dangerous precedent it has set.

Meanwhile, Iran’s armed forces denied targeting Turkiye, reaffirming their respect for the country’s sovereignty. This came after Turkiye’s Defence Ministry reported that a ballistic missile, launched from Iran and passing over Syria and Iraq toward Turkish airspace, was intercepted and destroyed by NATO air and missile defense systems in the eastern Mediterranean.

In related news, Qatar Airways announced on X that it will resume limited relief flights starting March 5, while regular operations remain suspended due to the ongoing closure of Qatari airspace.

Earlier, The Middle East tensions have once again heightened as Iran issued a stark warning to the United States and Israel that any attempt to impose regime change in the Islamic Republic of Iran will result in an attack on Israel’s nuclear infrastructure.

According to reports from foreign media outlets quoting Iranian semi-official news agencies, the Islamic Republic of Iran will not hesitate to attack Israel’s Dimona nuclear reactor if any attempt is made by the United States or Israel to impose regime change in the country. A senior Iranian military officer stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran has the military capability to attack the strategic infrastructure of the country it wishes to attack. The officer stated that the Dimona nuclear reactor in Israel could become the prime target of an Iranian attack if the Islamic Republic of Iran faces any attempt at regime change from the United States or Israel.
