Iranian President Masoud Pezeshk criticized the international community, stating that it will not forget that the order for the terrorist act of assassinating Hezbollah’s Secretary General, Hassan Nasrallah, was issued to Israel from New York.
According to Iranian Press TV, following confirmation of Hassan Nasrallah’s martyrdom in an Israeli attack, President Masoud Pezeshk released a statement saying that the U.S. cannot absolve itself of responsibility for the attack on Hezbollah’s leader due to its collusion with the Zionist regime.
He further added that Israel’s attack in the southern Dahiya area of Lebanon’s capital Beirut, particularly the martyrdom of resistance leaders like Hassan Nasrallah, will only strengthen the resistance movement.
The Iranian president emphasized that Hezbollah’s leader was a symbol of pride and resistance for Muslims, and that Nasrallah had finally fulfilled his long-held dream of martyrdom.
Praising Nasrallah’s bravery, Pezeshk said that words cannot fully describe his courageous actions against the enemies, and he believed that Hezbollah would achieve further successes following Nasrallah’s martyrdom.
It is notable that this attack on Nasrallah occurred during the 79th annual session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, shortly after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech. Following his speech, Israel launched an attack on Lebanon’s capital, Beirut.
Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, also called upon all Muslims to stand with Hezbollah after Nasrallah’s martyrdom, stating that this incident revealed the true ugly face of the Zionist rulers.
Hamas and other resistance organizations condemned the Israeli attack, asserting that Nasrallah’s martyrdom would only strengthen the resistance movements.
