At a Multan media briefing, Kundi expressed his worries over the rising level of turmoil in the province and chastised the KP government for its inability to keep the peace. He made note of the Chief Minister’s preference for attending political gatherings over attending to urgent security concerns.
Even though the KP government was given 600 billion rupees for security, Kundi stated that the provincial police were not given enough resources.
Kundi said he had extended an invitation to political figures, including those in the PTI, to work together to address the issues facing the area. He recommended making a persuasive case to the federal government, stressing the importance of well-reasoned arguments.
Kundi stated that reestablishing the province’s security and tranquility was of the utmost importance and that he planned to talk more about these issues with the Prime Minister. While he continued to be dedicated to settling internal disputes, he also recognized the difficulties of coalition governments.
Additionally, Kundi commended Bilawal Bhutto, the chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party, for his proactive support of the creation of constitutional courts.
