Currently playing for the Dolphins in the Champions One-Day Cup, Hamza explained how the longer format enhances bowlers’ adaptability.
“Experience in red-ball cricket teaches a bowler to adapt to different match situations and deliver the right ball,” Hamza said in an interview.
He expressed contentment with his recent form, particularly in the Test series against Bangladesh and in the Champions Cup.
“I take the most pride in my performance when it helps the team,” Hamza said, emphasizing team success over personal milestones.
Hamza stressed that his main objective is contributing to his team’s success, not chasing individual records or rankings.
He added, “I never play to top the charts. My focus is always on ensuring my team wins matches.”
