Lahore: Olympian Sadaf Siddiqui left for Hungary to take a coaching course offered by the International Olympic Committee. From Islamabad, she flew to Budapest.
An employee of the Pakistan Army, Sadaf Siddiqui has competed internationally for Pakistan in the Olympic, Commonwealth, and SAFF Games, among other competitions.
Ishrat Ashraf, Vice President of the Pakistan Olympic Association, gave Sadaf Siddiqui the training materials in Lahore. Ishrat Ashraf says that for Pakistan to make major strides in sports, women’s teaching and managerial abilities must be strengthened. Khalid Mahmood, the Secretary General of POA, wished Sadaf Siddiqui well.
The Olympian athlete claimed that she is proud to represent both Pakistan and the Pakistan Army.
She also mentioned that taking part in the coaching course will enhance her knowledge, which will help improve the performance of Pakistani athletes.
