Sehar Khan channels Radhika Merchant’s iconic ‘Phool Dupatta’ look

Pakistani actress Sehar Khan has stirred buzz by donning a ‘Phool Dupatta’ strikingly similar to the one worn by Radhika Merchant, the daughter-in-law of Indian business tycoon Mukesh Ambani, at her Haldi ceremony.

Sehar, who gained fame early in her career, recently co-starred with rising actor Hamza Sohail in the hit drama Fairy Tale. Their on-screen chemistry won over the audience, making them an instant fan favorite.

Sehar Khan made her acting debut with the drama Sanwari and has since showcased her talent in popular series such as Naqab Zan, Main Agar Chup Hoon, Wafa Kar Chale, Fasiq, Farq, and Rang Mahal.

After her success in Fairy Tale, Sehar has become a go-to face for Pakistani brands, frequently sharing fashion photoshoots on social media.

In a recent photoshoot for the clothing brand Mushq, Sehar stunned in various looks. However, one particular outfit stood out — a blue ensemble topped with a floral dupatta made of white jasmine and marigold flowers.

This look closely mirrored Radhika Merchant’s iconic ‘Phool Dupatta’ from her Haldi ceremony.

Fashion stylist Rhea Kapoor originally shared images of Radhika’s Haldi look, where her dupatta made of fresh jasmine buds and yellow marigolds captured widespread attention.

Social media reactions to Sehar’s similar look were mixed. Some users pointed out the resemblance, with one commenting, “Copying Ambani’s daughter-in-law,” while another added, “Copycat, imitating Radhika!”

One user humorously noted, “First, floral sheets were placed over shrines and graves. Now Ambani’s daughter-in-law has turned it into a fashion statement, and Pakistanis are about to give it their own twist!”
