United States Ambassador to Pakistan, Donald Bloom, visited the residence of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Jati Umra. The PML-N issued a statement confirming the meeting and mentioned that the US ambassador and Nawaz Sharif discussed Pakistan’s political and economic situation.
The meeting, also attended by PML-N Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz, focused on sustaining bilateral ties and cooperation on various mutual interests.
The discussions stressed on the need for a continued and strengthened partnership between the two nations, aiming for tangible and fruitful results. A range of topics, including trade, economy, climate change, security, and regional stability and development, were on the agenda during the meeting.
