Maryam Nawaz Sharif extends greetings to China on 75th national day

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has extended heartfelt congratulations to the government and people of China on their 75th National Day.

In a message marking the start of the Golden Week celebrations for the People’s Republic of China’s 75th anniversary, she conveyed her best wishes to President Xi Jinping and his colleagues.

“The people of Punjab share in the happiness of our brotherly nation, China,” she stated. “China and Pakistan are ideal neighbors, good friends, and valuable partners.”

Emphasizing the strong ties between the two countries, Maryam Nawaz Sharif remarked, “The Pakistan-China friendship is an undeniable fact, both at the government and people’s levels.”

She highlighted China’s contributions to Pakistan’s economic growth and stability, noting that both nations are “jointly committed to the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).”

The Chief Minister also lauded China’s global initiatives, saying, “China has played an active role in human development at the global level and has promoted a vision of building a bright future together.”
