At the invitation of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Malaysian Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim has arrived in Islamabad for a three-day official visit. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif warmly welcomed the distinguished guest.
Upon his arrival in Pakistan, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim was honored with a 21-gun salute, and children dressed in traditional attire presented him with flowers.
A smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Army also gave a salute to the esteemed guest.
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim is accompanied by a high-level delegation. During his visit, he will hold discussions with the Pakistani leadership on bilateral relations.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and members of the federal cabinet were also present to greet the Malaysian Prime Minister.
