Announcement of protest by Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore on September 29 at call of Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman

Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore has announced a protest demonstration on September 29 at the call of its Amir, Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman.

The announcement for the protest was made during a meeting of Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore’s core committee.

The demonstration will take place at Pakee Wal Chowk, Unity Road, at 3:30 PM on September 29. Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore, Zia-ud-Din Ansari Advocate, stated that the protest is being organized against the failure to provide relief to the public regarding electricity bills, as per the Rawalpindi Agreement.

According to the Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore, the protest will be led by central and provincial leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami.

A large number of men and women are expected to participate in the demonstration.

They are organizing citizens against the government’s anti-people policies through a membership campaign. Under the leadership of Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, the message of the “Give Rights to the People” movement is being conveyed to every home and individual.

The protest movement will gain momentum with each passing day until the implementation of the Rawalpindi Agreement.
